Elysian Park, located north of downtown Los Angeles, is a great place to take pictures. It offers a stunning view of the Los Angeles skyline without the hustle and bustle of tourists like the Griffith Observatory. This park is one of my favorite scenic spots in Los Angeles, especially the palm-lined road called Angels Point Road. There is also a hidden swing in the park that overlooks some houses and the road.
It takes a 10-minute walk to get to the swing, but it's worth it for the amazing views of Los Angeles and the chance to take a photo from one of the best photo spots in Los Angeles. William Mulholland dug several kilometers of canals throughout the residential area where he lived, but the city of Los Angeles was not a fan of it and between 1924 and 1928, they paved most of the canals to build more roads, despite a battle in the Supreme Court. The US Bank Tower is the highest observation deck in Los Angeles and offers 360-degree views of the entire city. Right at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Windward Avenue, just one block from the waterfront, this is a classic Instagram spot in Los Angeles.
